About
Grace Rucci is a New York Based actor, writer, producer, and director (she is multi-faceted!). After graduating from the Atlantic Acting School she wrote and produced her first short film, Influence, (which you can now check out on YouTube!) Ever since then, Grace has had the writing bug. She feels inspired by writer/actors such as Pheobe Waller Bridge, Lena Dunham, and of course, the GOAT, Greta Gerwig. All female artists who have paved the way for women, like her, to see themselves as filmmakers.
Grace’s recent project, Mid-20s Crisis, has been making its way through the US festival circuit. Most recently, it had its US premiere at Round Top Film Festival. Mid-20s is a web series created by Grace about women in their 20s in NYC who feel they haven’t accomplished the things they wish they had by this point in their lives. It’s Girls meets Sex and the City, but for Gen Z.
In 2025, Grace hopes to finish filming her series with the help of her friends Tomato Tomato Pictures (@tomatotomatopictures on IG), and her own production company Eye on the Target Films. If you want to learn more about the project check out the Pitch Deck!
Grace is an avid reader, loves to collage, and cuddle with her dogs Fig and Maple whenever possible. Grace splits her time between NYC and Connecticut, where she grew up, and teaches at The Studio Performing Arts in New Canaan.
With the current state of the world, Grace hopes to continue making art for those who need to laugh and cry amidst the chaos. Please feel free to contact grace with any acting, writing, or directing inquiries. <3
